The four different types of honey “Lick your fingers” are natural (“live”) Lithuanian meadow honey from our apiary. The set consists of spring, summer and autumn flowers and caramel buckwheat honey. It’s not just delicious, it’s priceless. Don’t have a favourite yet? So maybe you’ll try them all?
If you want fresh honey in spring, look for the lightest honey. True spring honey is harvested from dandelions as well as garden and rapeseed blossoms. It sets very quickly and is almost white in colour. It has the least perceptible aftertaste.
Summer blossom (lindens) honey is one of the most popular. Linden honey has a delicate flavour and pleasant texture. To Lithuanians, this is a very familiar kind of honey. Easy to lick straight off the spoon, it has no sharp after-taste, so it’s suitable for both children and adults.
Autumn blossom (forest, honeydew) honey is caramel-like. This natural honey comes from the honeydew of the plant and from the still flowering forest plants and is highly valued for its rich composition.
Buckwheat honey is the most nutritious. Even scientists claim that it can help treat anaemia and strengthen the immune system. It is also the darkest honey we offer with a specific flavour of burnt caramel.
ATTENTION! If you use a spoon, you won’t regret, but if you use your finger, you’ll enjoy it!
