Unbaked flourless chocolate cake with honey

Chocolate cake with Beata
Unbaked chocolate cake with no flour, no sugar, no chocolate, but very chocolatey. One of my favourites 🙂 And the best part is that it only takes a small piece to make you happy! We made this cake on "Beata's Kitchen". You can watch the recording here.  Unbaked flourless chocolate cake - a quick dessert that I make in just 20 minutes. Just remember that the cake takes about 2 hours to set if you have guests. Well, let's roll up our sleeves and get to work. 😃Recipes by Beata

Recipe

For the cake you will need:

  • 2 large avocados or 3 smaller avocados, which must be very ripe
  • 4 v. sh. honey (use linden honey, because it has the slightest hint of honey, which not everyone likes)
  • 1 glass of dates
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 glass of walnuts (or other nuts you like)
  • 100 g real cocoa (as full-fat as possible)
  • 1 orange peel

We produce:

  1. Preparing the ground. Place the dates and 2 tbsp coconut oil in a bowl. If the dates are dried, soak them in the evening to allow them to swell. Using a food processor, chop everything until smooth, the finer the better. Once everything has been chopped, it's time to add the glass of nuts to the dates and coconut oil mixture. Keep a few of the prettier nuts, they are perfect for decorating the cake. Again, use the chopper to grind everything 🙂 I recommend not grinding the nuts to a smooth paste, but leaving small pieces of nuts so that you can feel the nuts when you eat them 🙂 then the taste will be incomparable. Once everything has been chopped, it's time to put the base in the mould. You don't need a very large mould, a silicone baking mould was perfect for me. Place baking paper inside the tin and spread the mixture very evenly and stiffly in the tin so that there are no air gaps.
  2. Make the chocolate mixture.  Place the peeled avocados, 3 tbsp coconut in a bowlUnbaked flourless chocolate cake oil, honey, cocoa and grated orange peel. As has become a tradition, we grind everything again with a chopper until smooth. Place the cocoa mixture in the mould on top of the prepared base and spread it evenly. That's it! All that's left is to decorate our cake!
  3. Don't be afraid to improvise when decorating your cakes, use what you have at home, as they say "on hand". Fresh raspberries, a few nuts and a sprig of thyme were perfect for me. 🙂 It looked amazing! After decorating, place the cake in the fridge for 1 - 2 hours to set. Ideally, leave it overnight.
Delicious! Thanks to our friends at MINYKADO for this recipe, which we've tweaked a little bit 🙂 This flourless, no-bake chocolate cake is a real find for us, not only because it doesn't need to be baked, but also because it's nutritious. It's a piece of cake that can be eaten by both vegans and active exercisers. Guilt-free cake is just a pleasure... 🤣Unbaked flourless chocolate cake
